Also known as Lauren Flynn Teacher Mom, Lorenzo, Lo, or Zozo (that last one only if you're my oldest son). ​I know it's a cliche, but I really do love long walks to the fridge. I also love raising kids who come from hard places, and teaching young adults who have multiple disabilities. I love reading, writing about my life, and authenticity on the internet. I'm a Mama through adoption to two boys, Eli and Juju, and have been a Mama through foster care to two more boys. I teach high school special education. My partner and I live in sin together with our two kiddos and our (my) annoying cat. Writing all of that out was kind of trippy for me because this life is everything I ever wanted and I can't believe that I get to live it!

This space was born because I freaking LOVE blogs, and it makes me sad to see them becoming less popular in the age of insta. Don't get me wrong, I love a good instagram caption, but I grew up reading about the stories of other women online through blogs. Women who were mothers, and badasses, just like I wanted to be. Those women inspired me, made me laugh, and let me learn from their mistakes. They showed me that I could do it, that my dreams could be real life, and if you're reading this, I want you to know that yours can, too.
